Reiki teaches you how to give healing energy to yourself and others through the laying on of hands. I offer Reiki courses in small groups. During the course, I teach you how to work safely with energy.
In the Reiki 1 course, you will learn how to help your own body return to balance in a simple way, and how to treat others with Reiki. During the course, you will practice on yourself and on each other. You will receive 4 initiations from the Reiki Master. These initiations can be seen as an energetic attunement needed to allow Reiki to flow optimally. The first degree of Reiki is called Sho Den, which means “the first teachings.”
What will we do during the course? You will learn:
- How to give yourself a Reiki self-treatment
- How to give a Reiki treatment to someone else
- How to give a short Reiki treatment: “Reiki first aid”
- The history of Reiki
- Reiki as a way of life and the Reiki principles
